2024-2025 US Pacific Territories Fishery Capacity-Building Scholarship
Open to Undergraduate and Graduate students. These scholarships support the aspiration of American Samoa, Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) to build their capacity to effectively manage their fisheries and related resources by employing people from the local communities. AGA Guam Chapter - Herminia Dierking Scholarship
The Herminia Dierking Scholarship program is sponsored and funded jointly by the AGA Guam Chapter and private sector contributors in recognition of the achievements of the late Herminia H. Dierking, a Legislator, Educator, Humanitarian, Past President of AGA Guam Chapter, Past Regional Vice President of AGA Pacific Rim, and a past recipient of the AGA National Chapter Service award. This Scholarship is open to students who intend to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Public Administration at the University of Guam (UOG).

NEXTGEN Scholarship
The NEXTGEN Program is focused on supporting and preparing students for careers in the food, agriculture, natural resources, and human sciences across research, education, and extension. The NEXTGEN program places special emphasis on federal government sector employment in order to close the gaps in diversity and between supply and demand of professionals in these fields. One of the primary areas of focus include Scholarships to support the recruitment, retention, and graduation of students completing a degree, certification, and/or credential in food, agriculture, natural resource, and human sciences.
